We offer a discount to schools for stays Monday-Friday at the ‘Scouts and Guide from further afield’ rate.
An example. A Wiltshire Scout Group’s summer camp of 4 nights includes 20 cubs and their 4 leaders sleeping in a lodge, 30 scouts with 4 leaders camping and 2 other leaders in their own caravan. 16 beavers and 4 leaders are visiting for a day.
The whole party of 20 cubs, 10 leaders and 30 scouts will pay the pppn fee of £5.50 for each of 4 nights.
To this will be added £80 for each of 4 nights for the lodge and £8 for each of 4 nights for the caravan.
And also 16 beavers and 4 leaders at £2.50 each for the day visit.
Making (60 x £5.50 x 4) + (£80 x 4) + (£8 x 4) + (20 x £2.50) = £1260 + £320 + £32 + £50 = £1722 AND electricity used in the lodge.
