Running Your Camp

Supplies

Of course, you can bring your own food but why not get it ordered to be delivered direct to the site? It saves much space in your transport and saves worry about frozen and chilled foods arriving safely. Sainsburys, Asda, Tesco and Waitrose all deliver to the site (BH23 8EF). The drivers always welcome a long line of Young People to unload and the odd one loves a cup of tea! Once you have arrived, there is some freezer space for your food and more limited fridge space.

Whilst you’re onsite,  even the best run camp needs supplies occasionally. Here are some local options.

Local Shops

In the village of Bransgore which is 1 1/2  miles away there is;

Supermarkets

Sainsbury’s at Ringwood and Christchurch, the Christchurch one being the larger and easier to find and park at, especially if you have a mini-bus.

Waitrose at Ringwood.

There is Lidl, Aldi, Tesco and Asda further afield.

You can see just the shops in the map below, by clicking the bullet button in the top left, then clicking the tick next to Activities.

For those of you who arrive in cars with parents dropping off, you might want to get out and about whilst you’re here. Hiring a mini-bus or even a coach for a day or more, could be the answer. Here are a few local companies that we’ve seen groups using at the site but its also worth googling and phoning around for prices.

Callvan Hire, 17-seater mini buses, easy to get to from the site. Ringwood 01425 477442

Solent Coaches, 22 to 87 seater coaches. Ringwood 01425 473188
